Raised in Enfield, Theresa left her hometown to serve her country in the United States Navy. During her service, she worked as a fireman and later as a military payroll clerk, gaining skills in discipline, problem-solving, and financial management. In 2013, she returned to Enfield to make her home once again and has been deeply involved in local civic and community organizations ever since.
Professionally, Theresa has built her career as an accountant and tax preparer, owning her own business and developing a strong reputation for financial expertise. Her background gives her a deep understanding of budgets and fiscal responsibility—skills she applies both in business and in public service. She is committed to identifying challenges, finding solutions, and ensuring that government operations serve residents effectively and efficiently.
Theresa’s community involvement is extensive. She has served as treasurer or secretary for numerous organizations, including (PTK) Phi Theta Kappa Alumni, BNI, the Enfield Community Development Corporation (ECDC), Enfield Scout Hall, and the North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce (NCCCC). These leadership roles demonstrate her dedication to building partnerships, supporting community growth, and giving back to the organizations that make Enfield strong.
Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with concentrations in Accounting and Psychology. She is the proud mother of an adult son and grandmother to two grandchildren.
